Magnesium bath bombs (eucalyptus–orange)

Natural bath bombs with relaxing magnesium and essential oils. They combine magnesium-rich Epsom salt, natural oil, and aromatic essential oils. Perfect for an evening relaxation ritual.
Bowl – for mixing dry and wet ingredients.
Spray bottle with water – for gradually adding water so the mixture doesn’t fizz.
Rubber gloves – to protect your hands from contact with citric acid and essential oils.
Bath bomb molds (you can also use cookie molds).
- 115 g baking soda
- 60 g potato starch
- 60 g citric acid
- 60 g Epsom salt
- 1 teaspoon oil or olive oil
- 20 drops orange essential oil
- 10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
- a pinch of turmeric or other natural food colouring
Mix all the dry ingredients and essential oils.
Lightly spray the mixture with water, but not too much, so it doesn’t start to fizz.
Spray the water gradually using a spray bottle, mixing as you go, until the mixture can be shaped.
Shape the bath bombs in the molds and leave them to dry for 12–24 hours.
