Oat Milk Bath for Babies with Eczema
Many babies struggle with eczema, especially during their first year of life. It can have many causes — some of which you can read about here. Simply caring for the skin is often not enough to get rid of eczema, as its source often lies in the gut.
A common culprit turns out to be milk — even the milk consumed by a breastfeeding mother (this was the case with my six-month-old son). When I eliminated dairy from my diet and used an oat-based therapy, his eczema disappeared within a few days.
Today, I’ll show you how to make a gentle oat milk bath for your little one. It’s a natural, soothing way to calm sensitive skin. Do not add any detergents to the oat bath. After the bath, I recommend applying a homemade oat cream — you can find the recipe here.
